The Patented Sanuvox Process

By utilizing a patented "J" shaped Dual Zone Mercury Vapour Ultraviolet Lamp, a Turbulator to slow and spin the air and an Aluminum Chamber to intensify the UV light, the patented Sanuvox process is able to recreate the effects of sunlight to destroy biological contaminants and neutralize odors.

Sanuvox's "J" lamp produces UV-C and UV-V light. UV-C is short-wave germicidal radiation. This wavelength's primary uses are for the destruction of bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms which pass through the Aluminum Chamber. UV-V is used for oxidization. This is the portion of the lamp which will neutralize odors and destroy chemicals in the air. Both UV wavelengths work together to destroy the contaminants within your home, office or building.

Don't be fooled by companies who call their units UV Air Purifiers when they are simply "Lights in a Duct". These "Lights in a Duct" purify the walls of the duct or air conditioning coil, but are virtually useless in purifying the air.
